"And you ask me what love is?
Love means that you are enough for me… And that I’ll never get enough of you"

I pray we get the future we always talk about having
كُن لها السند، تكن لكَ المأوي
Be her support, she would be your shelter.
English can never do Arabic justice. The word المأوي is translated as shelter, but it’s so much deeper than that- it is closer to your haven, your hearth, your asylum. It comes from the root word “mawee” which means to harbor, and was used in times of war to relate that if your ship was brought to our shores it would be harbored safely and peacefully. Furthermore “mawee” shares a prefix with the word “ma’a” which means water- the most essential element of life.
Now, go back read the quote, and tell me what a woman is to the man who supports her.
